A Testimony From Sis. Stephanye Strider "To Be Used Is To Serve"
Man’s interpretation of being used means being taken advantaged of, being abused, exploited, or walked all over, etc. As Believers being used is an opportunity to serve; by making ourselves available, being supportive, giving of ourselves, time, talents and monetarily. Being used by God is pleasing, comfortable and brings forth a servant’s heart. Matt 23:11 states “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant”. When you take the time to comfort another when they are hurting, crying, lonely, you are being used. When you share how God got you through, or when you pray with someone to get them through, shout halleluiah because you allowed God to use you to bless someone else. Let not one day pass without reaching out an arm of Love to someone. The smallest word of encouragement, a prayer, a hug, and even shared tears can comfort someone far beyond than what you know. Be used. Be used by all, by the lowest, the smallest. How best can you serve? Let that be your daily seeking, not how best you can be served. This year let’s commit to take serving to another level by “Praying It Forward”. Let’s avail ourselves to serve or encourage someone and pray with them to serve or encourage someone else. Let’s see how many times God will multiply our blessings to His Glory. Women are still hurting and need a place that provides opportunities to encourage and draw us closer to Christ Jesus in faith, prayer and worship. It is evident that God called us, is calling us and will continue to call WCBG to do His Will for His glory for all women. Until He Comes....Sis Stephanye Strider

Women Called By God Ministry has been in existence for a little over a year. We’ve prayed, taught evangelized, fellowshipped and served many women; mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, daughters, and granddaughters in areas we couldn’t have imagined. No matter when or how few of us met, someone was blessed and a need was met. Through seminars and workshops, we learned Who the Woman in the Mirror was, how to share Christ with our spouses, the significance of prayer and Befriended the Woman God Called Us To Be. We laughed, we cried, we talked, we listened and we prayed again. We drew closer to God and His ways that made us stronger to be used to His glory to continue to serve more women. Mark 10:45 reads, “For even the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many”.
